how do I hang up shelf brackets with out them popping out of dry wall?
I tried hanging some shelves as well as two that come and have a hanging rod as attachment, they looked good once they were up but after a couple of hangers with clothes were on, the brackets just popped right out! Help!
You can’t mount anything that will bear any weight directly into drywall without an anchor. However, it is much better to mount directly into a stud if possible. If not possible, you will need drywall anchors, which can be found at any home improvement store. Make sure that you use one that is sufficient for the weight that will be on the shelf.
