other than an oven, what can i use as a proofer in my kitchen?
I never use my oven for proofing dough. I just cover the bowl with a linen towel and set it on the table or counter away from drafts and away from where I’m working on other things while it’s rising. If you have enough room in a cupboard, that would probably be warmer than the counter. But in the winter, my cupboards on the outside wall are cooler than room temp.
