vending machine reads “coins only”?
i recently acquired a refreshtron 3 (yes that is actually what the model is called), and it has a maka nb-11b-400 Bill Validator in it, this is paired with a mars trc6000 coin mechanism.. the vending works fine with coins but i cannot find a way to get the validator to talk to the cpu. when the machine is powered on the validator clicks, so i know it has power..
i have already tried setting the coin mech to “high quarter” to no avail… any help on this would be greatly appreciated, as not too many people carry enough change for what im vending.
Resetting the DIP switches ( the pins you toggle to set the price the customer must pay for each item before it vends).
if that doesnt work, then you need to contact the manufacturer of the machine and buy a RECONDITIONED ( not new) payment unit module so that you can start to accept paper money.
I am assuming at that — because you havent said whether the refreshtron® you bought has a paper money slot or not./….
