Can we Install a Pot-Rack in a mobile home?

We live in a mobile home and want to install a pot-rack to hold all of our pots and pans. Is that possible? Will it be too heavy for a mobile home and like tear down the roof or something?

If it is a half moon pot rack against the wall, you can attach it to both the ceiling and wall, it should be fine.

If it is only attached to the ceiling, I have seen many mobile homes use 2″ x 2″ ceiling joist, they can not hold the weight.

Maybe find a good area and place a fake beam along where you want the pot rack. It will allow for many attachments to make it stronger and would allow you a way to even run some wire to place lights up there as well.

Straight to the joist, it will probably fall.
