I am putting new cabinets in front of heating/cooling vent and?
I have 2 vents in this area and the cabinet installer suggested closing the vent and the other would be fine, what do you think ? Should I have the vent moved or just close it off ?
If the vent is in the floor you can get an adapter to make it vent through the floor kick. If its in the wall it would be worth the comfort to have it moved. All HVAC duct work is designed for your comfort. If you want to be like some of the other people on this site asking why parts of their rooms are too hot or too cold go ahead and close it off.
