How to clean a commercial gas stove top?
I am moving into a house that has a Garland Commercial Gas Range and the top stainless steel burners are dirty and a little rusty. What is the best way to clean this? Everything comes off the top and I thought I might be able to use a heavy duty cleaning brush. Any suggestions?
I just found out the top is actually cast iron. Dirty and a little rusty. What works best to clean? I can take everything off.
If you own or can rent a steam cleaner this works great. You can also use oven cleaner. Take all the removable pieces outside spray with oven cleaner then put them in a black plastic trash bag and leave in the sun for several hours. Rinse with the garden hose and most of not all the gunk will be gone.
