I’m desperate for homes for kittens…they are outside cats and we have 16 living under our deck..?
We have 3 little ones only about 8-10 wks old…they are darling kitties, 2 gray and white we call Pixie and Dixie (Unfortunately Dixie is a male)…and Puffer an all black beautiful ball of fur..None are tame but we could probably catch them in a trap we have if someone would come get them…I worry about them with this frigid Iowa weather….
If you can catch them, take them to the Humane Society or a a rescue. I know of a rescue in MIchigan that is just for barn cats or feral cats, see if you can find a shelter like that. The thing about taking them to the Humane Society is that because they aren’t friendly, they may not get adopted and end up being put to sleep. Also, if your don’t mind some of the older cats hanging around, get them fixed. Some vets have discounts if you get mulitple cats fixed at one time, especially if you let them know that they are strays. You could also make sure that you have a place for them to stay warm (a dog house or shed full of hay and blankets) and food and water with them until it gets warmer. Good luck!
