Where can I find metal discs, about 3-4″ diameter, and 1/8″-1/4″ thick?

I’m making giant-sized versions of single-coil guitar pickups, and need something to attach to the front to imitate the pickup’s magnets. Nothing too heavy, as the shelves will be aluminum and painted black.

Other than a metal supply place, who may cut them for you, I can only suggest Home Depot. If you’re going to paint them, you could use the round electrical junction box covers. You would have to fill in the holes and sand them down, but they should look okay after painting.
