know anything about shaved door handles/door poppers?
k, well i have an 06 lancer evolution. i wanna get the handles shaved n stuff. but here’s what i want, and i just wanna know if there even is such a thing. i want there to be just a button on the outside of the door that you press, and it pops open. but it only works when it’s unlocked. i just think that would be pretty rad, so if you know of such a thing, like a kit or something.. lemme know! thx, or maybe even any other weird/cool ideas for the evo. its gonna be pretty badass when i’m done with it.
You can get a key electric switch and wire it in series with the power leads to the door solenoid. A friend had a 65 Cyclone done that way back in the 60′s. The button was well hidden in the grille next to the headlights and the key switch was installed on the front license plate in place of one of the bolts.
Shouldn’t be a problem.
