rover metro, where are my rear speaker cables?

I have a Rover Metro ’94 1.1l. It doesn’t have any rear speakers. I want to install some 6×9 rear parcel shelf speakers, but i have no idea where the rear speaker cables are, if they are there at all!!! If they are not there, how do i wire them in from the standard headunit wiring loom?? I have a Sony headunit, not the standard one, however the plugs are still the same. Please help!!

Hi mate, don’t think there is any wires in the back of your metro. what you can do is go down to your local halfords and get speaker wire make sure it is the red and black wire not the same coloured stuff. take your head unit out ull see the wiring loom, on the wires on the loom (should be writing on the sides of the wires) your looking for the to rear lefts and the to rear right, cut the cables so that you are just taking the outer case off and connect the positive to the positive one and the negative one to the negative one. run all your wires behind your head unit and along underneath the door plastics to your boot.
make sure you put your right rear cables along the right of the car the same with your left side.
