What double stick tape can I use in my car that will not fall off when it gets too hot or too cold?
This is going to be hanging an Amateur Radio speaker.
It is 5″W x 3.4″L x 1.5″D and weighs 0.66 lbs. (125x83x38mm 300g)
Sean, I can help with this. You can go to any automotive store like autozone, advance auto, napa etc… and get the tape your looking for. It’s a 3m tape that hold emblems and moldings on cars. It is made for all weather heat ,cold, moisture, It will with stand just about all it’s some tough stuff! Just make sure and get 3m brand not a off brand.
Some of the 3m tapes can hold up to 80 lbs easily. which cost more, but you will not need that type.
If you have any body shops close around, stop in and just buy a foot off them and cut with scissors into about 3 strips and you might be able to save a few bucks from buying a whole roll which you may not use again.
When putting the tape on, make sure you know where it goes, there is no moving it after applying it. So if get this it will solve your problem. Hopes this helps ya out and please don’t forget to vote !
